The manual describes 22 DOF as the 'gripper-free' version and 26 DOF as the gripper version; the store lists 22 DOF, so it is the gripper-free one. That version has 4-DOF arms ending in 'ball-hand' tips. Body: 6-DOF legs, 4-DOF arms and a 2-motor head. HighTorque's public 'pi_plus_24dof' URDF shows a 24-DOF model (5-joint arms, 2-joint head) with no finger joints. The manual also mentions a customized claw and chest-shell version, not sold on the store.

Reality check
The maker's store takes orders, but no stock count or lead time is published and the maker's pages give 65 to 75 cm and 10 to 15 kg for the same name, so get the configuration and ship date in writing before you pay.

Yes, with work: importable into United States.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
Spare batteries and other accessories are excluded. Confirm compatibility and pricing with the seller.

The store has a normal cart and PayPal checkout and lists the United States and every EU member state in its country selector. The 'Buy Now' buttons on hightorquerobotics.com lead to a sales inquiry form that asks for company name and job title.
Price notes: HighTorque store (USD): Base (RK3588) $5,500.00, Pro (Jetson Orin NX + D435i Camera) $7,500.00. The page does not say whether tax is included and shows no shipping cost (the cart marks the item as taxable; shipping rates appear only after an address is entered). The page data also carries a stale compare-at price of $3,500 that is below the selling price, so it is not a discount. HighTorque's RoboCup 2026 offer for registered teams only: Mini Pi+ Pro $6,750 for 1 unit, $12,750 for 2, $30,000 for 5, with a 3-year warranty. Reseller AiFitLab lists Mini Pi plus at $12,100 and Mini Pi plus Pro at $16,410. The maker's own launch video ends on 'From $5,500'.

About the Mini Pi Plusbackground, hardware and buying reality
Mini Pi Plus is HighTorque's small humanoid, listed at 68 cm and 15.4 kg (Base) or 15.6 kg (Pro) with 22 DOF, 21 Nm peak joint torque, a 21.6 V 4,500 mAh battery, about 60 minutes of running time and 1.1 m/s top speed. Base uses a Rockchip RK3588 computer; Pro uses a Jetson Orin NX plus a RealSense D435i. HighTorque (Guangzhou HighTorque Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd., Tianhe District, Guangzhou, China) says it has nearly 200 staff and sells motors, arms and robots. The maker reports that Mini Pi+ Pro won the Humanoid League Small Division at RoboCup German Open 2026 and that it is a RoboCup League Partner. Its own pages disagree on size, weight and DOF, so check the exact configuration before ordering.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Per the store and the maker page: predefined motions (dance, kung fu, football), voice interaction through an 8-array microphone and speaker, a built-in AMP walking algorithm with preloaded motions, and operation with the supplied control handle. HighTorque shows it walking, kicking and doing back flips in its own videos.
Best for: University labs and RoboCup-style teams that want an open, ROS-compatible small humanoid for walking, RL and sim-to-real work and do not need it to pick things up.
