We searched Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) (the EU's journal of public tenders, searched in all 24 EU languages and by maker and model name), USAspending.gov (US federal contract awards) and Contracts Finder (UK public contracts) for notices published since 2024-01-01, and read each notice in its own language.
A purchase is listed when the buyer calls what it bought a humanoid, or describes a head, a torso and two arms, walking, wheeled or fixed, from small teaching humanoids to full-size research machines. Patient simulators, robot heads alone, single-arm mobile manipulators, robot dogs, research and development contracts and safety studies are left out. Where a call bought a humanoid with other equipment in one lot, the price says so.
A machine is named only where the notice names it, and links to its datasheet when the catalog lists it. National portals below the EU thresholds and purchases by private companies are not covered, so this is the visible part of the market, not all of it. Seen a notice we missed? Send it through the form and we add it.
