Mornine M1
The first automaker-backed humanoid you can actually add to a cart, a 167 cm showroom greeter from Chery's AiMOGA that serves drinks and opens car doors, but it is a curated commercial appliance with no SDK, not a programmable robot.

About 40% on China-origin collected today: the 2.5% MFN base, 25% Section 301 List 1, and the 12.5% Section 301 forced-labor duty effective 24 Jul 2026 with no expiry. It began the same morning the 10% Section 122 surcharge lapsed, so the total rose from about 37.5% rather than falling to 27.5%. Confirm the live rate before ordering.

Dexterous hands included
Unlike most humanoids at this price, the dexterous hands are standard, not an upsell: the whole Mornine pitch is a robot that hands a customer a coffee and opens a car door, and the marketing calls them 'fully flexible' hands. AiMOGA has not published the per-hand DOF or a tactile-sensing spec on its official datasheet, so treat fine-manipulation capability as unproven beyond the scripted showroom demos.

Reality check
You are buying a polished showroom host, not a general-purpose or developer robot: it walks slowly, lifts 1.5 kg, runs about 2 hours per charge, and has no public SDK. Its impressive moments (opening a car door, serving a drink) are a narrow demonstrated set, with VR teleoperation there for tasks beyond it.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
Yes, with work: importable into United States.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
Spare batteries and other accessories are excluded. Confirm compatibility and pricing with the seller.

Anyone with a JD.com account can add it to cart at the listed price, which is the point of this launch: it is the first automaker-backed humanoid put on open retail rather than behind a sales call. In practice the realistic buyer is a dealership, showroom, or events operator, not a hobbyist, because the robot is built to greet and guide, not to be tinkered with.
Price notes: One listed price: 285,800 yuan on AiMOGA's own JD.com flagship store, which reporters convert to roughly $41,400 to $41,860. That figure is the robot alone at the China consumer launch, not a quote for a supported commercial deployment. No EU price is published because it is not sold through an EU channel, and overseas grey-import resellers have listed it far higher, so treat $41,400 as the China floor, not what an overseas buyer pays.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Day one it is a showroom host: it greets visitors, holds a spoken conversation in one of its advertised languages, gives a guided walk-around of a product, serves a drink, and can open a car door. That is the demo, and it is a curated set of behaviors, not open capability, and it moves slowly (1 m/s top walking speed).
Best for: Dealerships, showrooms, and events operators who want a real, CE-marked humanoid greeter that talks to visitors, guides tours, and serves drinks, and who do not need to program it themselves.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
There is no public developer path. AiMOGA ships a locked commercial appliance with a fixed behavior set and VR teleoperation for supervised tasks, not an open robot you script. Doing anything beyond the built-in reception and guided-tour routines means a custom engagement with AiMOGA, not code you write against a documented SDK.
