The spec table shows no end effector on the Standard X2 and 'supports optional gripper or dexterous hand' on the X2 Pro. The manual's optional dexterous hand is listed at 160 mm x 76 mm, 6 DoF per hand, grip of at least 50 N, 383 g. The June 2025 JD gift hand was described differently: 12 joints, thumb 15 N, other fingers 10 N, RS485 control. Ask which hand you would actually receive.

Reality check
There is no public checkout and no current price on DroidUp's site, the paperwork is in Chinese, and the maker's website and manual disagree on payload, battery life and DoF, so get specs, edition and delivery terms in writing before paying.

Price notes: DroidUp's site shows no price. Its own post on the June 2025 JD.com launch gave RMB 169,800 for the Standard X2 and RMB 249,800 for the X2 Pro, with the Standard delivered within a week and the Pro on a 60-day lead time; it does not say whether tax or shipping are included. Whether that JD listing and those prices are still live could not be confirmed in October 2026, so no headline price is recorded.

About the Xingzhe 2background, hardware and buying reality
Xingzhe 2 (X2 or X02 in DroidUp's manual) is DroidUp's second-generation biped. Instead of one large motor in every joint, motors spread through the body pull cables across the joints, which keeps the Standard edition near 32 kg at 170 cm. The October 2025 manual lists the Standard X2 (20 active joints, RGB camera, voice, no hands) and the X2 Pro (26 joints, about 35 kg, RGB-D camera, optional lidar, optional gripper or dexterous hand), about 3 hours of walking at 1 m/s and a 2 kg payload; DroidUp's product page quotes higher figures (30 joints, 6 hours, 9 km/h) that match its newer Xingzhe 3. It finished the April 2025 Beijing half marathon in third place and won its group in the 1,500 m at the August 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
With the included handheld remote it stands up and walks forward, backward, sideways and in turns, copes with uneven ground and some pushes and impacts, and plays four preset gestures (wave, handshake, thumbs up, V sign). It has a voice interaction function, falls into a limp damping mode when it loses control, and has hard and soft emergency stops. First use must be on a safety rope or hoist.
Best for: A lab, school, venue or integrator in China that wants a light full-size walking humanoid for demos, reception or locomotion work and can buy by quote in Chinese.
