Reality check
You cannot buy this at any price: it is a rent-by-the-hour enterprise service with no household offer, so for a normal buyer it teaches what is still out of reach.

Price notes: Not for sale at any price. The model is Robot-as-a-Service to enterprise partners (BMW etc.), reported around $25 per robot-hour. Aggregators cite ~$130,000 early production cost and a long-term ~$20,000 consumer target; neither is an official price. Figure's site shows no household offer: its April 2026 update says robots from BotQ go to internal R&D, data collection, housework development and commercial use-case development.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Not applicable for buyers. In partner deployments it runs Figure's Helix vision-language-action model, which advanced to full-body control (walking and balance) per Figure's January 2026 update, for pick/place and household tasks. Figure's BotQ facility ramped from about 1 robot/day to about 1 robot/hour through mid-2026, targeting 12,000 units/year; Figure reported passing 350 units in late April 2026, and BotQ manufactured its 1,000th Figure 03 on 23 July 2026. That is a manufacturing count, not a delivery count, and it does not change the fact that the machine cannot be bought.
Best for: Large enterprises that can sign a Robot-as-a-Service contract with Figure.
Documented uses
Real work / logisticsPilot stage
BMW Group says Figure 03 is starting a logistics sequencing project at Plant Spartanburg, sorting delivered parts into sequencing trolleys.
This is an early project with development still running at BMW and Figure; the completed BMW pilot (30,000 X3s) used Figure 02, and access requires a commercial agreement with Figure.
Source reviewed 2026-10-05Assessment from published documentation, not an independent performance test. Applies to the configuration described above.
