Galbot G1
The Galbot G1 is a wheeled semi-humanoid mobile manipulator from Beijing Galaxy General Robotics: a human-scale, two-armed upper body on a 360-degree omnidirectional base with a foldable-leg torso lift (reach to ~2.4 m), rather than a walking biped.

The G1 ships as a task-configured mobile manipulator rather than with two anthropomorphic hands: the common deployment pairs a vacuum/suction module on one arm with an adaptive gripper on the other, and end-effectors are modular/interchangeable per task. A 12-DOF dexterous hand configuration exists and is what drives the higher end of the total-DOF count, but it is a configuration choice, not the default, and Galbot does not publish a standalone add-on price. Per-arm payload is about 5 kg (roughly 10 kg using both arms), with a torso-lift assist rated to heavier single loads.

Reality check
It is a real, deployed picking-and-packing machine, but you are buying a wheeled two-armed mobile manipulator with a suction cup and a gripper (not a walking, five-fingered humanoid), and outside China you get it through a reseller at roughly $120K with import and support on you.

You cannot order the Galbot G1 today: it is b2b only.
In China the G1 is genuinely on sale to businesses (and appeared on JD.com, where it sold out within minutes after the Feb 2026 Spring Festival Gala). Outside China there is no direct-from-Galbot channel yet, so a Western business buys through a robotics reseller at a large markup. This is a commercial mobile manipulator sold into retail, pharmacy, logistics and factory operations, not a consumer or hobby robot: expect an inquiry, an integration scope and a quote, not a hobbyist unboxing.

Price notes: China domestic pricing on JD.com and via direct/lease is roughly 630,000-699,700 yuan, about $87,000-$97,000 USD, which is the figure used here (~$87K as the lower, most-cited point; pharmacy-configured units have been quoted near 700,000 yuan). A higher-autonomy Premium configuration with NVIDIA Jetson Thor costs more (amount not published). Outside China the only listed price is a US reseller add-to-cart of about $119,995, a substantial import markup. No official EUR price exists (no EU channel), so priceEur is null. All figures are configuration-dependent and quote-based for business buyers.

About the Galbot G1background, hardware and buying reality
Its pitch is uptime and useful work, not spectacle: ~10-hour battery, ~95-97% grasp success, and its AstraBrain/GraspVLA embodied-AI stack driving real, running deployments in Chinese pharmacies, autonomous retail across dozens of cities, and factory pilots with CATL, Bosch, Toyota, BAIC and SAIC. It is genuinely for sale to businesses in China (it briefly sold out on JD.com), but outside China you go through a reseller at a markup, so for a Western buyer it reads as commercial/B2B rather than off-the-shelf.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Configured units run their trained commercial routines with essentially zero programming: they navigate an indoor space on the omni wheeled base, then pick, sort, pack and place items using the suction module and gripper. Galbot cites ~95-97% grasp success across varied objects and has G1s running live pharmacy fulfillment (locating, picking, packing 5,000+ SKUs, ~370 orders/day) and autonomous retail restocking across dozens of Chinese cities. Day one it does the manipulation task it was set up for; it does not invent new tasks for your site by itself.
Best for: Operations teams (retail restocking, pharmacy/e-commerce fulfillment, light logistics and factory line-side handling) that want a proven indoor picking-and-packing robot with long uptime and are prepared to buy it as a commercial deployment, including integration and, outside China, an import path.
