Reality check
You are buying a development platform, not a worker. It walks and grips; anything task-shaped you build yourself, and the dexterous five-finger hands are a separate quote on top of a machine that already costs about 60,000 dollars.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
Yes: a seller in the EU lists it, so you buy it without importing it yourself.
The maker publishes no price for the Oli (CL-3), so there is no import estimate to Germany. A seller in the EU does list it, and that price is the delivered figure here.

Individuals and companies can inquire. Confirm the configuration, stock, and delivery with the seller.
Anyone can order the EDU configuration: two established resellers list it with a working cart rather than a quote form. In practice the buyers are labs, universities and integrators, but there is no gate.
Price notes: The Oli EDU is the configuration actually sold, at $72,000 with an open cart at Robots International (it listed $59,900 earlier in September) and EUR 71,999 excluding VAT at Dobot.nu in the Netherlands, in stock with free EU and UK shipping. The other three variants are quote-only, but the range matters: LimX launched the Oli line from RMB 158,000 (about $21,800) for the Lite, so the $72,000 stored here is the mid EDU tier and not the cheapest way into an Oli. Do not read it as the line's entry price. The EUR figure is a European reseller price with import already handled, so it sits above the dollar figure rather than converting from it.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Walks at up to 5 km/h, runs full-body motion demos, and responds through the bundled voice module. Manipulation out of the box is gripper-level pick and place, not dexterous hand work.
Best for: A lab or integrator that wants a full-size bipedal platform they can actually order today, with documented motion APIs and no import paperwork inside the EU.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
Comfort with a documented motion-control API and ROS-style tooling. The high-level API covers locomotion, so a team does not need to write whole-body control from scratch, but any useful task layer is yours to build.
SDK access: The EDU is sold as a development platform with documented high-level and low-level motion control interfaces, the same posture LimX took with the TRON1 EDU. That is a real step up from a demo-only machine.
