Luna
LimX's fabric-wrapped, stage-focused interactive humanoid: a 160 cm, 27-DOF biped that dances, spins, and greets in malls and theme parks, shipping in China from about $41,000, with one Dutch reseller stocking it in Europe at a steep markup.

Reality check
This is a performer and greeter, not a worker: 3 kg per arm and a fist-shaped standard hand mean it dances and interacts rather than manipulates, and outside China and South Korea the only stock we can find is a Dutch reseller at EUR 75,999 excl. VAT, far above the China price (LimX's own rollout is a 2027 target).

US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
No delivered price: the maker does not currently ship the Luna to United States. Ask the concierge whether a sourcing route can be opened.
No US channel yet. Deliveries so far are China and South Korea; wider international rollout is a 2027 story.

Aimed at commercial and entertainment operators (shopping malls, theme parks, brand activations, interactive NPC roles). Purchasable in China now and delivered in batches; global pre-orders are open, named-market international sales wait on 2027 certification, and one Dutch reseller (Dobot.nu) already stocks it.
Price notes: RMB 298,000 (about $41,000) in China, with an introductory RMB 40,000 discount for the first 100 customers. LimX publishes no EUR price, but Dobot.nu in the Netherlands now lists the Luna in stock at EUR 75,999 excl. VAT, far above the China price; LimX itself targets broader international availability in 2027 pending certification and distribution partnerships.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Powers on as an interactive performer and greeter: it walks (up to ~5 km/h), dances, spins, and does splits, learns choreography by analyzing a video clip, and generates performance routines and interactive scenes from natural-language prompts, with voice and vision interaction. It is built for the stage and the shop floor, not for heavy manipulation.
Best for: Commercial and entertainment operators (retail, theme parks, exhibitions, brand activations) in China and South Korea who want an interactive, performance-capable humanoid now, not a research or industrial work platform.
Documented uses
LimX markets Luna as an interactive humanoid for shopping malls, museums, theme parks and live stages, with dance routines and synchronized group control.
LimX says the Standard Edition does not support secondary development, the 5-finger hand is optional, and group control needs the Content Development Expansion Kit.
Source reviewed 2026-10-05Assessment from published documentation, not an independent performance test. Applies to the configuration described above.
