Grippers, not dexterous hands
The V3/V3.1 prototype ships with Mentee's own redesigned dexterous hands using motor-based tactile sensing (roughly 30N pinch force per finger, per press coverage), so hands are integral to the platform rather than an add-on. There is no priced hand option because the whole robot is not for sale; the hand is simply part of the announced design.

Reality check
Do not put money down: the MenteeBot is not for sale to anyone, has no published price, and on Mentee's own timeline the earliest you could even pilot one is a 2026 enterprise proof-of-concept, with real commercial units not expected until 2028.

You cannot order the MenteeBot today: it is announced.
Nobody can buy one today. Mentee Robotics is running its own R&D and, per its stated roadmap, only begins proof-of-concept engagements with a handful of enterprise customers (fulfillment centers, assembly lines) in 2026. There is no order form, no reseller, and no consumer or research channel. In November 2025 Mentee agreed to be acquired by Mobileye for about $900M (expected to close Q1 2026), which folds the whole program into Mobileye's physical-AI unit.

Price notes: No official price exists. Mentee has never disclosed pricing and the robot is not for sale. A "from $35,000" figure appears on some third-party robot-aggregator pages, but it is unsourced speculation about a hypothetical future consumer version behind a "request a quote" button, not a real quotable price, so we treat price as unknown (null). Separately, the parent company was valued at ~$900M in Mobileye's acquisition, which is the company price, not the robot's.

About the MenteeBotbackground, hardware and buying reality
It is genuinely capable in demos: two units autonomously depalletize boxes and stock racks, and it learns tasks by voice and imitation rather than teleoperation, running an in-house vision-language-action stack on dual NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX compute with dexterous tactile-sensing hands and 360-degree vision. But for a buyer it is an announcement, not a product. Mentee's own roadmap only starts enterprise proof-of-concept pilots in 2026, first experimental manufacturing in 2027, commercial industrial deployment in 2028, and home use around 2030. In late 2025 Mobileye agreed to acquire Mentee for about $900M (closing expected Q1 2026), so the program is now inside Mobileye's physical-AI effort. There is no price, no order channel, and no developer or research kit.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Nothing for a buyer: you cannot obtain one. In Mentee's own demos the pre-production robot does autonomous warehouse work with zero per-task programming, picking boxes from mixed piles and placing them across racks, navigating and grasping from scene understanding and spoken commands, and learning new tasks by verbal instruction and visual imitation rather than teleoperation. That behavior lives in the company's lab and pilot demos, not in any unit you can take delivery of.
Best for: Nobody buying today. It is worth tracking for enterprise logistics and assembly teams who might qualify for a 2026-2028 Mobileye/Mentee pilot, and for industry watchers following where Mobileye takes physical AI. If you need a humanoid you can actually order and run now, this is not it.
