Grippers, not dexterous hands
Each arm ends in a servo-driven two-finger claw with soft TPU fingers on an open connector, so you can design your own end effector. Grip force is estimated from the servo's current; there is no force sensor. Payload is 1.5 kg per arm at 55 cm reach.

Reality check
At $1,688 it is the cheapest wheeled two-armed robot in this catalog, but you pay in full up front to a five-person startup with no terms, warranty or refund policy published, for a batch with no ship date, and its own docs say it cannot yet perceive objects on its own.

About the A3background, hardware and buying reality
The A3 comes from Nori Robotics, a five-person Y Combinator (Summer 2026) startup founded by Antonio Sitong Li, which opened orders on 18 August 2026. It weighs 20.4 kg on a 45 x 45 cm base, has 19 actuated joints (7 plus a gripper per arm, the lift and two drive wheels; the head is fixed), Feetech serial-bus servos, a Raspberry Pi 5 for control and safety, four cameras and a lidar. Nori's docs and its hardware paper say A3 units have shipped since 21 July 2026, while its store sells a 100-unit second batch for 'fall 2026'; the store sold an earlier, different robot (the L2, $1,288, Batch 1 of 100) at the same address in June and July, and no buyer has posted an A3 yet. Nori's paper says its figures describe the design, not measured performance.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Per Nori's docs, you pair it to a Nori account, then drive it by keyboard in a browser, in VR or from code, record demonstrations of a task, have Nori's cloud train a policy on them, and run that policy from your own computer over the network. The YC profile says it handles 'basic tasks out of the box', but the docs say on-robot perception is not working yet, so expect teleoperation and teaching before anything runs alone.
Best for: Developers, students and tinkerers who want the cheapest two-armed mobile manipulator for imitation-learning and home-task experiments, and are comfortable teaching it by teleoperation and running policies from their own computer.
