Dexterous hands included
Ships with two PUDU DH11 dexterous hands, one per arm. Each DH11 weighs 500 g and has 11 degrees of freedom (6 driven motors), 12 tactile-sensing regions with 1,018 tactile pixels, up to 30 N palm-finger grip, and a rated 40 kg lifting load. No separate hand add-on cost is published because the hands are part of the D9 configuration.

Reality check
You are buying an early-stage pilot platform under a contract, not a finished worker: there is no list price, no public SDK, and what actually ships is whatever the sales agreement scopes, which is narrower than the launch video.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
You cannot order the D9 today: it is b2b only.
Sold through Pudu's sales team and integrators like RobotLAB as pilots, purchase, lease, or Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS). RobotLAB says single units are available to research labs with no minimum fleet, but there is no public checkout: every engagement is quoted per deployment. Not a consumer product you can add to a cart and receive.
Import requirements for United StatesConformity, battery shipping, paperwork, and source documents. Review before ordering.

Price notes: No official price. Pudu and every reseller quote per deployment (purchase, lease, or RaaS), citing configuration and tariffs. Public estimates are unreliable and conflict: some industry commentary guesses roughly $20,000-$30,000, while one aggregator lists $100,000 (unverified). Because no seller publishes an actual figure, we record price as null. Get a real quote from global_sales@pudutech.com or an integrator like RobotLAB before budgeting.

About the D9background, hardware and buying reality
Dual 7-DoF arms carry up to 20 kg total (10 kg each) and end in PUDU's DH11 dexterous hands (11 DoF, 1,018 tactile pixels across 12 sensing regions). Onboard it runs 275 TOPS of compute with RGB, RGB-D, tactile, and IMU sensing for 3D semantic mapping and visual navigation, powered by a 0.72 kWh (15 Ah) pack good for roughly 1.5 hours. Pudu targets dining, retail, hospitality, healthcare, entertainment, education, and manufacturing. In practice it is a contract-only, early-stage platform: real pilots and RaaS deployments exist through integrators, but you cannot order one at a listed price.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
With zero programming, out of the box the D9 does essentially nothing useful on its own: it is a platform delivered under a sales contract, and Pudu explicitly says demonstrated capabilities may not be available to a given customer. In vendor-run and contracted deployments it can walk bipedally up to 2 m/s, climb stairs and slopes, balance, perform 3D semantic mapping and visual navigation, and grasp and lift objects (up to 20 kg total, 10 kg per arm) with its dexterous hands. Expect the delivered behavior set to be scoped to what you buy, not the full promo reel.
Best for: Enterprises and integrators running a funded humanoid pilot in service, hospitality, retail, or light logistics who want a full-sized bipedal platform with capable dexterous hands and are prepared to work through Pudu's sales channel, accept per-deployment pricing, and supply or buy the engineering and support around it.
