About the Robovie-nanobackground, hardware and buying reality
Robovie-nano launched in 2009 as Vstone's smallest and cheapest Robovie. It has 15 joints (head 1, arms 6, legs 8) driven by VS-S020A servos and a VS-RC003HV board, with parallel-link legs for steadier walking. Finished size is 230 x 121 x 72 mm and weight about 575 g with the battery. The maker's product page prices the kit at 47,000 yen excl. tax; Vstone's shop now sells it as a 63,910 yen set with battery and controller because the plain kit is sold out, with an assembled version at 85,910 yen on special order. Vstone notes a 2010 servo change that left the original AAA cells too weak, and its battery page links the cause and a fix for an overheating defect found in the dedicated battery.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Once assembled, it walks using the supplied VS-RC003HV board and can be steered with the VS-C3 controller in the set.
