About the Apollobackground, hardware and buying reality
On 30 June 2026 Apptronik unveiled Apollo 2, the current generation (bipedal and wheeled-base configurations, hot-swappable ~4h batteries), and opened its ~90,000 sq ft Robot Park data-collection facility in Austin, whose fleet feeds Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics models. Apollo remains B2B-only with no public price.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Not applicable for buyers. In live Mercedes-Benz deployments (Berlin-Marienfelde and Kecskemet, Hungary) it runs intralogistics: transporting components to the line and initial quality checks, with a hot-swappable battery (~4h per pack). Also in pilots at GXO and Jabil.
Best for: Enterprise logistics and manufacturing operators pursuing pilot agreements.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
Not applicable (enterprise integration with Apptronik; NVIDIA GR00T/Jetson Thor on the AI side).
SDK access: Closed to the public; enterprise integrations only.
