Reality check
It is a fully open developer platform with no SDK paywall, but the sticker is bare: budget several thousand more for the grippers or hands, because the arms ship empty.

Delivery to United States needs seller confirmation.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
We do not have a confirmed shipping route for the T1 to United States. Coverage in another country does not establish delivery here, so no delivered total is shown.
No US reseller lists the T1 any more: K-Robotics dropped the Booster line and Maverick Drone carries only the K1 and T2. Booster sells direct by inquiry and describes worldwide shipping, but US delivery (and the FCC authorization a foreign robot has needed since 28 Jul 2026) is unconfirmed, so ask Booster before budgeting.

Price notes: No US seller publishes a T1 price any more. K-Robotics, the former US authorized distributor whose $33,949 list this catalog previously carried, has dropped the Booster line entirely and now stocks only Unitree; its T1 product page is a dead 404. Maverick Drone carries the newer T2 but not the T1, and Booster's own site is inquire-only, so a US buyer gets a quote, not a sticker. Third-party robot databases still repeat $22,000 to $33,949 figures, but no authorized seller stands behind them, so this catalog shows no US price rather than a number nobody will honor. Robots International, an international reseller rather than an authorized Booster dealer, now lists the T1 Standard at $34,000 and the T1 Basic at $29,800 with Add to Cart (checked 2 Oct 2026); its US storefront, RobotsUSA, does not carry Booster. EU pricing is still public and is where the T1 is genuinely buyable new: OpenELAB at EUR 37,900 incl. VAT, DDP, shipping from China in 5 to 10 working days (cut from EUR 40,800). Generation Robots (FR), which listed new units at EUR 39,000, now offers only a single used demonstration unit at EUR 31,200 incl. tax. Booster's own site menu now lists only the K1 and the T2, a sign the T1 may be winding down, so confirm stock before ordering. Grippers (+8 DOF) and dexterous hands (+18 DOF) are paid add-ons. An older '$15,000' launch figure is outdated.

Size to scale
Drawn next to a 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) person. Every robot on the site uses this same reference, so you can trust the comparison at a glance.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Walks, balances, gets up after falls, and runs soccer demos (RoboCup 2025 champion platform); app and Bluetooth teleop work day one. Real tasks require development; it is explicitly made for developers.
Best for: University teams and developers who want an open, competition-proven mid-size platform with EU-friendly logistics.
Documented uses
Robotics R&D
The manufacturer provides C++ and Python control interfaces with locomotion and low-level examples.
An SDK is a research tool, not a ready-made task. Confirm the SDK and firmware match the purchased T1 configuration.
Source reviewed 2026-09-09Assessment from published documentation, not an independent performance test. Applies to the configuration described above.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
ROS2 + Python/C++; RL/sim experience (Booster GYM) to go beyond demos. Onboard Jetson AGX Orin 200 TOPS makes an external GPU optional but useful for training.
SDK access: Full open-source SDK, ROS2 Humble, Booster Studio tooling, and sim support (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Webots). No EDU/retail SDK lock.
