Reality check
The Pro's Thor compute is genuinely top-of-class, but the arms ship with a bare configurable end effector: budget roughly $11,000 for grippers or $17,000 for the dexterous-hand pair on top of the base.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
Yes: a seller in the United States lists it, so you buy it without importing it yourself.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
The maker publishes no price for the T2, so there is no import estimate to United States. A seller in the United States does list it, and that price is the delivered figure here.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Dynamic bipedal locomotion, whole-body balance, and bimanual manipulation while walking, shown in the July 2026 reveal. Like the T1 it is a developer platform: real tasks require development, and the Thor T5000 compute (up to 2,070 TFLOPS on the Pro) is sized to run large models on-robot.
Best for: Developers and labs who want Booster's open, competition-proven platform with the highest on-robot compute in its class.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
ROS2 + Python/C++ and RL/sim experience to go beyond demos, on the same open toolchain as the T1 (Booster GYM, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Webots). The onboard Thor T5000 removes the need for an external training GPU on-robot.
SDK access: Open-source SDK, ROS2, Booster Studio tooling, and sim support carried over from the T1 line; no EDU/retail SDK lock.
