Grippers, not dexterous hands
MiPA has two fine-motor arms, not fingered humanoid hands. NEURA describes them as force-torque sensitive arms tuned for safe contact with people. Its current pages do not say which end effector ships as standard: the reservation page lists modular attachments (backpack, shelf, table, hook, clip, tool change) and the datasheet describes the base robot without end-effectors, with a 3 kg single-arm payload. The design is modular, so different grippers and tool mounts can be swapped on, but do not expect the multi-finger manipulation marketed on bipedal humanoids. It is a two-armed rolling manipulator; confirm the included gripper before you pay.

Reality check
You are reserving a EUR 9,999 rolling two-armed assistant whose release NEURA now places in late 2026 after first planning 2025 deliveries, so treat the EUR 100 as a place in line, not a purchase: NEURA promises only the basic functions listed on its site at launch, and chores like unloading the dishwasher depend on Neuraverse skills that partners still have to build.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?

Delivery to United States needs seller confirmation.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
We do not have a confirmed shipping route for the MiPA to United States. Coverage in another country does not establish delivery here, so no delivered total is shown.
NEURA opened MiPA reservations and demoed it at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, so a US reservation may be possible, but the company has published no US pricing, no US delivery timeline, and no US support or certification path. A US buyer is reserving into uncertainty, not buying a shipping product.

Individuals and companies can inquire. Confirm the configuration, stock, and delivery with the seller.
Reservations are open to private individuals, and the EUR 9,999 tier is explicitly consumer-facing. But reserving is not buying: you pay a small deposit to hold a place in line, not to take delivery. Sources also note reservations are open in select regions with no confirmed list of supported countries, so availability by market is not guaranteed.
Price notes: EUR 9,999 is an introductory price for the MiPA Home model (private households), stated on NEURA's own reservation page and reported by The Robot Report. You reserve now for a EUR 100 deposit that counts toward the full price; there is no US dollar list price and NEURA has not published one. Watch the deposit figure: NEURA's current page says EUR 100, but the original May 2025 pre-order announcement quoted EUR 200, so confirm the amount at checkout. A secondary review site guesses USD 15,000 to 25,000, but that number is unofficial and contradicts NEURA's own EUR 9,999, so treat it as noise.

Introductory price for the MiPA Home model (private households). A EUR 100 refundable reservation fee reserves a unit and counts toward the price. NEURA's FAQ points to a late 2026 release but gives no delivery date for individual orders and no supported-country list, so this reserves a place, not a delivery slot.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
Not released yet: NEURA's FAQ points to a late 2026 release and says that at launch MiPA will include the basic functions listed on its website. Those are autonomous navigation, touchless human detection, multi-language voice commands, hand gestures and touch, and transporting items from room to room. Higher-value chores like vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, tidying or health monitoring are described by NEURA as Neuraverse skills that partners can develop, so what any given unit can actually do depends on which skills are published and installed, not just on the hardware.
Best for: European early adopters and care or home-service settings that want a safe, human-aware mobile helper for fetching, carrying and voice interaction, and are comfortable that the headline chores arrive later as downloadable skills.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
None to use it as a voice-and-gesture home assistant. To make it genuinely useful for a specific chore you will likely rely on Neuraverse: MiPA is an open platform giving developers and integrators real-time data and APIs to build custom skills, which are then shared or sold in the ecosystem. Building your own skill needs real robotics and software engineering; most buyers will instead depend on the skills NEURA and third parties publish over time.
