H1-2
The manipulation-oriented H1 variant with 7-DOF arms and higher arm torque, a heavier research chassis than the base H1, and now a retired one: Unitree delisted it and the US channel sold out during 2026, squeezed out by the far cheaper H2 below it and the H2 Plus above it.

Ships without dexterous hands. Priced here for third-party Inspire dexterous hands (about this for a pair); Unitree's premium Dex5-1/Dex5-1P tactile hands cost far more.

Reality check
You cannot buy this new any more: Unitree dropped it from the lineup and the US reseller is sold out. The prices you will still find quoted are historical, and the H2 does more of this job for a fraction of the money.

You cannot order the H1-2 today: it is discontinued.
Nobody, new. It sold quote/PO-based to funded research buyers while the line was open; the remaining route is a used unit or an existing lab's surplus.

Price notes: END OF LINE: these are last-known list prices, not prices you can pay. Unitree has removed the H1-2 from its own lineup, and RoboStore, whose $128,900 is the figure quoted everywhere, now lists it Sold Out with a notify-me form. STEMfinity still shows $145,012.50 but publishes no inventory. Generation Robots quotes the H1 line in EUR and never listed a standalone H1-2 price. Treat $128,900 as the historical US list price for valuing a second-hand unit, not as an offer: the $29,900 H2 replaced it from below, and the $100,000 H2 Plus replaced it from above.

Drawn next to a 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) person. Every robot on the site uses this same reference, so you can trust the comparison at a glance.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
A research platform like the H1: remote-controlled walking (under 2 m/s, slower than the H1 due to the heavier manipulation-oriented build) and stabilization. Nothing autonomous, no hands as shipped.
Best for: Reference only now: labs already running an H1-2 fleet, or anyone valuing a second-hand unit. A group buying new should price the H2 EDU or the H2 Plus instead.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
The H1 stack plus manipulation research gear: at 70 kg a gantry is strongly advised, plus ROS2/Python/C++, a GPU workstation, and teleop rigs for arm data collection.
SDK access: Development platform with the full SDK (unitree_sdk2/ROS2) and high/low-level control. No locked consumer tier.
