Isaac 1
Isaac 1 is Weave Robotics' consumer home robot: a wheeled, fabric-covered assistant with a telescoping torso (crouches to ~3ft, rises to 5ft 9in) and two orange-clawed grippers that folds laundry, makes beds, and tidies clutter.

Grippers, not dexterous hands
Isaac 1 ships with two-finger grippers (soft claws with orange tips), not anthropomorphic hands or individually actuated fingers. Weave deliberately chose simple grippers over dexterous hands to make laundry-folding and tidying reliable. There is no hand upgrade option offered to buyers.

Reality check
You are buying a wheeled, gripper-handed laundry-and-tidying appliance that leans on remote human operators when it gets stuck, ships to California first in fall 2026, and cannot be programmed, so treat it as an early-access home service, not an autonomous humanoid you own outright.

Reservations are open to consumers via a $250 fully refundable deposit, but purchase is geographically gated: first deliveries are California-only in fall 2026, with the rest of the US following through 2027. Europe is not on the roadmap. A reservation today is a place in line, not a shippable unit for most buyers.
Price notes: Two consumer options: $7,999 up-front (the order page adds an optional $99/month premium membership), or $449/month on a subscription plan (over $5,000/year). Weave's pages do not say what the subscription or the membership includes. A $250 fully refundable deposit reserves a place in line and stays refundable until the unit ships. First shipments are in fall 2026, California first, with the rest of the US following through 2027. No EUR pricing exists because Weave does not sell in Europe. The subscription is the ongoing-cost path; Weave says the robot gets teleoperation assistance when needed, and its pre-order agreement says final features and delivery dates are not guaranteed.

$449 per month on Weave's subscription plan; Weave's pages do not say what the plan includes. Over $5,000 a year, so it passes the up-front price inside about 18 months.

About the Isaac 1background, hardware and buying reality
It runs two autonomous routines (Laundry Flow and Daily Reset) after mapping your home, controlled from a phone app, with a remote human operator taking over for tasks it cannot handle alone. It sells for $7,999 or $449/month, reserves with a $250 refundable deposit, and starts shipping in California in fall 2026 (rest of US through 2027, no Europe). Founded in 2024 by ex-Apple engineers Kaan Doğrusöz and Evan Wineland, Weave is a Y Combinator-backed San Francisco startup.
What it does on day onewith zero programming
Out of the box it is a consumer appliance, not a kit: after it maps your home, it performs two scheduled routines with zero programming. "Laundry Flow" (finds dirty clothes, folds and puts away clean ones) and "Daily Reset" (makes the bed, fluffs pillows, tidies shoes, toys, and clutter into place). You control and schedule it from a smartphone app. When it hits a task it cannot do autonomously, a remote Weave operator briefly takes over to finish the job.
Best for: US (initially California) early-adopter households who want a real, orderable home chore robot and accept a hybrid autonomous/teleoperated appliance rather than a fully independent or programmable humanoid.
Documented uses
Weave takes preorders for Isaac 1 as a home robot for Laundry Flow (finding, folding and putting away clothes) and Daily Reset (making beds, tidying toys, shoes and clutter).
