About 40% on China-origin collected today: the 2.5% MFN base, 25% Section 301 List 1, and the 12.5% Section 301 forced-labor duty effective 24 Jul 2026 with no expiry. It began the same morning the 10% Section 122 surcharge lapsed, so the total rose from about 37.5% rather than falling to 27.5%. Confirm the live rate before ordering.

Reality check
There is no product to unbox: this is a free design plus a parts list, so the real cost is the workshop, the sourcing, and the months of assembly it takes to get one walking.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
Yes, with work: importable into United States.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
Optional hands are excluded until a seller quotes them. Spare batteries and other accessories are excluded. Confirm compatibility and pricing with the seller.

Open-source self-build; assembled units via third-party shops on demand.
Price notes: The design is free: full BOM, blueprints, assembly instructions, and control code are open-sourced on GitHub, and there is no fixed Fourier retail SKU. Assembled units are sold on demand by third parties: Robotopian lists the N1 at $40,000 on backorder (checked 3 Oct 2026; the VecRobot kit shop that also sold it is offline), alongside the GR-3C at $85,000 and the GR-3 at $100,000. Component cost is far lower if you self-build, so treat $40,000 as the price of not doing the assembly yourself.

Size to scale
Drawn next to a 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) person. Every robot on the site uses this same reference, so you can trust the comparison at a glance.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
None until built. Once built: 3.5 m/s locomotion, 2h runtime, and FSA 2.0 actuators, a design Fourier claims is validated by 1,000+ km of outdoor testing.
Best for: Well-equipped labs and serious hackers who want a completely open humanoid to build and modify.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
Serious: mechanical assembly, electronics, firmware flashing, and RL training. For capable labs and hackers only.
SDK access: Fully open source: hardware, control systems, and training frameworks. One of the most open humanoid stacks available.
