Reality check
The H1 is a legacy machine (superseded by the H2, though Unitree has posted no formal end-of-life notice): it is a locomotion research chassis with no hands and no autonomy, and the newer H2 does most of it for a third of the money on the platform Unitree is actually developing, so buy the H2 unless you have a specific reason to want the aging H1 lineage.
Can you get one, and what will it cost?
A planning estimate with machine, freight, duty, and tax shown separately.
Yes: a seller in the United States lists it, so you buy it without importing it yourself.
US authorization: We found no public FCC ID for this model. Since 28 July 2026 a foreign-made robot can be sold into the US only under an FCC authorization from before that date, so ask the seller for its FCC ID, or its Supplier's Declaration of Conformity dated before 28 July 2026, before you pay.
Spare batteries and other accessories are excluded. Confirm compatibility and pricing with the seller.

About 40% on China-origin collected today: the 2.5% MFN base, 25% Section 301 List 1, and the 12.5% Section 301 forced-labor duty effective 24 Jul 2026 with no expiry. It began the same morning the 10% Section 122 surcharge lapsed, so the total rose from about 37.5% rather than falling to 27.5%. Confirm the live rate before ordering. Price notes: Unitree lists $90,000 with 'contact us for the real price' (quote-based). RoboStore US: $99,900. EU: Funduinoshop EUR 105,910 incl. VAT; Generation Robots from EUR 112,195. Legacy status: Unitree has posted no formal end-of-life notice, but the H1 is now effectively superseded by the H2 family (same SDK lineage, current actuators, and a manufacturer roadmap that is H2-first) at roughly a third of the price, and remaining H1 sales are drawdown of an aging line. Parts and warranty continue, but do not start a new deployment on the H1: buy the H2 instead. Relevant mainly for its proven 3.3 m/s locomotion lineage.

What it does on day onewith zero programming
A locomotion research platform: remote-controlled walking (a world-record 3.3 m/s among humanoids) and stabilization. No manipulation, no autonomy, no consumer demos.
Best for: Labs that specifically want the proven H1 locomotion lineage and its open SDK.
What it takes to developskills, gear, and SDK access
A full research stack: Linux/ROS2/C++/Python, safety rigging for early experiments, and a GPU workstation. At 47 kg it needs two people to handle safely.
SDK access: Sold as a development platform: unitree_sdk2 with ROS2, high- and low-level control documented. No locked consumer tier exists for the H1.
